Global Youth United (GYU)
Objective:
GYU is a private volunteer organization, which aims at promoting mutual understanding among young people across the world, including the YOUNG AT HEART, and has been established by a group of interested individuals. The main purpose of this organization is to make friends.
Beyond race, culture, and history, we believe that it is possible to find a friend for lifetime, one whom we can trust and entrust our lives with in case of need. It is our belief that the foundations of politics, economy, and culture in the 21st century have to be built with such person-to-person relationships of mutual trust. Accordingly, we are hoping to expand a circle of such relationships of trust throughout the world.
As a volunteer group, GYU has an intention of carrying out its activities steadily and reasonably within the scope of interested members. Furthermore, we do not aim our activities solely at Myanmar, and are determined to exert ourselves to enhance a global view among young people, especially in countries where going abroad is difficult.
